To achieve our aims, CPAS as a scientific institution are actively
making numerous valuable research and publication and also giving consultation in
study of prehistory and Austronesia for them who having interest with it.
Research
Research is an important aspect in our consideration especially a systematic field research to achieve a primary data which oblige for being continue with a publication.
Some research topics
Some actual research topics in Prehistory and Austronesia whether in national, regional or international frame which considerably being CPAS priority research are:
a.Early colonization of prehistoric people in Indonesia and Southeast Asia
b.The extinction of H. erectus and emergence of anatomically modern human
c.Influence of climatic oscillation and ecological change during last glacial period to habitation and human culture.
d.Ethnogeneses of Indonesian people correlated with the development and dispersal of Austronesian language speakers.
e.Contribution of culture and prehistoric tradition to modern culture in Archipelago.

Publication
CPAS activities on publicizing results of the latest research were meant to gain public concern andappreciation to the virtue of cultural value which is very important to the development of present civilization. We believe that there are many significance value came from prehistoric period such as wisdom, creativity, etc which are still deeply buried beneath material culture left on present day. These cultural value can be use as a foundation to a better principal of life and strengthen identity to establish the spirits of togetherness and friendship within different societies and countries. This value also can be a motivation and inspiration for us to develop our civilization for a better future.
Sort of programs of public activities which became our recent activities such as seminars, symposium, exhibition, publication of scientific journals and books, and multimedia release (VCD, DVD etc) are highly dedicated for a public consumption.

Consultation given by CPAS are targeted to any potentially young researchers and students to support them for becoming a brilliant expert in Prehistory and Austronesia study. Through a strong link we have with some professional and expert on their field, we also invite them to give a consultation, concordant to the requirements. CPAS also open for consultation to any passionate students and public who have strong interest with subject we are working in.
